Now in its 13th year, the American Solar Energy Society works with communities across the country to host solar home tours. This year, many of the tours are scheduled for Saturday, October 4.
This is one of the best ways to see the sun “in action” in your neighbor’s yards. Some homeowners remodel their home specifically for solar photovoltaic and hot water systems others simply attach their solar energy systems to their existing home. It’s invaluable to see how people integrate solar energy into their lives.
